WOW! I never realized just how tricky balancing my time between 2 angel babies would be! Even with my mom here, I have had a pretty tough time adjusting to all the changes. I mostly am just concerned about sweet Peyton and making sure she doesn't feel neglected by momma, and making sure I soak up sweet Piper, who is at the yummiest baby stage- newborn! It is tough. I'm so lucky to have my mom here. She has been an angel. She takes Piper in the night and brings her to me to nurse, she runs my errands, cooks our meals, entertains Peyton and cleaned my whole house. I feel like she is my fairy godmother. I don't know what I would do without her here! I haven't been doing much besides nursing and pumping, but both Piper and I had our 2 day post-discharge appointments, and everything is looking great for both of us. Piper is now in the 35th percentile for weight, at 7lb. 6oz. And I am healing so much faster this time around. I haven't had to take pain killers since my 2nd day home from the hospital, and my contracting uterus cramps have disappeared since being home. I feel pretty good, though I am tired 24 hours a day.

My alert little babe- I love her blonde lashes and blue eyes and her daddy's exact hairline.

My mom bought Peyton and I matching Halloween aprons that say "Every good witch knows... it's all about the shoes!" She knew my little shoe lover would appreciate that.

I wanted to post a couple pictures of Piper's nursery
Lastly... Peyton's preschool masterpieces! I just love all her artwork. I can't believe my baby is big enough to be bringing home art from school!

Congratulations on your family of four! Piper is beautiful!
Ashton somehow I've missed all of these new posts until now! I loved reading through everything and seeing all the pictures! The birth story was great. Sounds like you had a great experience this time around (despite feeling the pain for longer than you wanted!). And Piper is just perfect...so cute! Peyton seems like she is going to do just great with her and be such a wonderful big sister! And how cool that your mom made it just in time for the birth (If I remember correctly I think something similar happened with Peyton?). Frankly I'm not surprised that Justin was able to get her there! Haha...
You look great and your family looks so happy. I'm so excited for you guys. Good luck adjusting...it takes some time but before you know it you'll feel like it's all totally normal! Love you lots!
