Week 2

Somehow, even though my mom left, we are still surviving! The sad day came on Tuesday when it was time for my mom to go back home, and it was hard to tell who was the most upset that she was leaving; Peyton or I. We're figuring things out though. Jade has temporarily moved into the movie room at nights, and I have relied heavily on my awesome network of family and friends. I feel so blessed to have great people in my life who I know I can turn to when I need something. Piper is a little bit gassy, so we've been to the baby chiropractor 2 times, and it seems to help. Peyton has continued to be a loving big sister, and we have to remind her several times a day that she is not allowed to pick up Piper by herself. Piper had her newborn pictures taken yesterday, and cried every time I put her down. By the end of the shoot, I was choking back my own tears. It will be interesting to see if any actually turn out. Little stinker. Other than that, we're not really up to much. Just adjusting!

I love her little hands up in this picture
Peyton, my mom and Cheyanne all shared a cuddle. Peyton's face is amazing in this picture.
Jade was living in the estrogen house for awhile. 5 girls (6 if you count Tinky- which we do)
We were excited that Chey was able to come up for a few days to meet Piper.
I wonder if I will ever have time to do her hair again?
Jade can't pass up the chance to take Tinky pictures.

Tink hovers around Piper. I think she thinks she's her personal bodyguard.
Piper always tries to break free of the swaddle. I loved her little clasped hands.
This one made me laugh, too.
Noni's last day. It was a sad one.
If you can believe it, Peyton kissed her sister totally unprompted!
The girl can't get enough of her Noni

It looks like you guys are adjusting really well! I hope the gas continues to get better each day! I love all your pictures! Your girls are so cute!! And I love that Jade likes to include Tinky in the pictures too! I can't believe how grown up Cheyanne is looking. And she's looking more and more like you. Keep the pictures coming! And I have to say that I'm super impressed that you have consistently blogged two weeks in a row! Love you guys! Give kisses and hugs to Peyton and Piper!!

Oh, makes me weepy just thinking of the sad day when Mom leaves. Time to face reality. So glad things are going smooth though without her. Piper is adorable, can't wait to meet her in real life.

Ashton! I haven't peeked at your blog (or anyone's for that matter) in far too long! Congrats on having the little girl! You make your kids so freaking cute! And you look unreal as well!!! You haven't aged a day and your body is still unreal, even in the hospital bed right after having birth... are you sure you're real?!?! LOL! I hope you're doing well! It's great seeing your beautiful family! Wishing you the best always! <3
